In a fast-paced world we often feel guilty for wanting to s l o w d o w n . And if we do gift ourselves the beauty of time and stillness, we might notice our mind is trying to tell us that we are missing out on the world that is zooming by.

But I want to offer you a new perspective: Nature never rushes yet everything is achieved in perfect timing.


The seasons come and go, the rain, the sun, the storms. These weather patterns pass through our own lives too – the joy, the sadness, the challenges. Yet, we grow through them all.
This is old wisdom, and slowly, I feel that the world is returning to its natural ways.
What if we let go of marketing hypes and what’s currently trending. What if we return to the wisdom that exists in our bones, that has run through the blood of our ancestors, and that which has made it back to us.
To move naturally, and in a variety of ways. To walk to the river side just to listen to the water, to hang our clothes in the sun to dry, and take a moment to soak up the vitamin D.
To eat slow, and eat seasonally. To learn how to savour the flavours.
To wind down when it is dark and to sleep deeply, giving your body the rest it needs.
To bring the mind back to simplicity rather than overstimulation.
And to create and find ourselves in supportive, uplifting and inspiring environments that nurture the mind, body, and soul.
